Julie Harris, Executive Director
Julie Tuttle Harris is the founding Executive Director of Bike Walk Nebraska. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Political Science and Economics from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and a Masters in Public Administration from University of Nebraska at Omaha.
A native of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Julie grew up in a neighborhood that made it safe and easy to walk and bike to school from kindergarten through her senior year of high school. The desire to give her two daughters that same experience, combined with a background in policy and local government led to a career in bicycle and pedestrian advocacy.
Julie is a member of several local and state organizations, steering committees and working groups that focus on active transportation issues and has presented at numerous local, state and national events and conferences. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Heartland Bikeshare, the former chair of the City of Omaha Mayor’s Active Living Advisory Committee and a certified bicycle safety instructor with the League of American Bicyclists.
Although she has ridden many miles on her road bike and managed to crash her mountain bike into a tree on more than one occasion, Julie now enjoys going on epic bike adventures with girlfriends and escaping to the mountains to hike with husband, Jeff.

Cait Dumas-Hein, Associate Director
Cait Dumas-Hein is the Associate Director for Bike Walk Nebraska. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Web Communication Design & Journalism from Hastings College and has pursued a career in digital marketing, brand restructuring and management, and community advocacy over the last decade.
With family ties in the Hastings, Nebraska area, Nebraska was integral to her life growing up until she moved to Grand Island in high school. Growing up in smaller towns, Cait continues to thrive in community-centric spaces and has experienced bikes as a tool for connection - both for recreation and transportation - throughout her life.
After a stint in the cycling industry, Cait now co-owns Grounded Nebraska, a cycling management and consulting company for purpose-driven events. Grounded hosts the annual grave race & ride, Grounded Nebraska: A Gravel Festival. She is Chair of the Steering Committee for All Bikes Welcome's Board of Directors and oversees partnerships for InstaFund La Prima, a UCI Cycling Team.
Over the years, Cait has piled on many miles of riding, racing, and training, but now she primarily spends her time in the saddle mountain biking, commuting, or enjoying a group gravel ride with friends.

Taylor Sterba, Communications and Outreach Coordinator
Taylor Sterba is the Communications and Outreach Coordinator for Bike Walk Nebraska. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in Public Policy and minors in Economics and Communications from Creighton University.
Though she grew up in Omaha, Taylor often walked, biked, or used public transportation to go to school or meet up with friends. She sees active transportation as a way to connect with the places and people around her, and with her background in policy and nonprofit work, Bike Walk Nebraska was a natural fit.
Taylor is an active education and policy advocate serving as the Co-Director of the Education Action Team and member of the Board for the League of Women Voters of Nebraska, as a Director-at-Large for the LWV of Greater Omaha, and Co-Director of the educational television series Go Vote, Omaha.
Although her biking days have diminished, you may often catch Taylor on evening walks in her surrounding neighborhoods or hiking in the many parks Nebraska has to offer.
